Thought Leadership and Publishing

Bellwether Education Partners’ thought leadership work focuses on two main goals. First, through writing, blogging, and other public communications, we seek to create a public and policy environment that is more conducive to efforts to achieve ambitious education improvements for low-income students. So we engage in the battle of ideas about education reform and educational entrepreneurship and we produce work to help inform key public policy questions.

We also work directly with like-minded organizations to help them get their ideas and accomplishments into the policy and ideas marketplace. We help nonprofit and for-profit organizations, individuals, and government agencies that meet our readiness criteria develop strategies and methods to highlight and expand their impact, grow strategically, and more effectively engage with public policy. We do not, however, lobby or do direct public relations work.

We bring state and national policy experience to this work as well as a powerful national network of education change agents. At all times we observe strict conflict-of-interest and transparency policies so any writing we do that references any organization Bellwether works with will clearly acknowledge the relationship.
