After 18 years in consulting, Grace Heintz joined the leadership team at Wayfair, an online home furnishings retailer. At Wayfair, Grace serves as General Merchandise Manager for Joss & Main, one of the company's propriety brands.
Prior to joining Wayfair, Grace was a partner at Bain & Company in the Boston office, having begun her career there in 1997 as a summer associate.
At Bain & Company, Grace focused on strategy and performance improvement for consumer products, including supply chain restructuring and premium segment growth development. In addition, Grace spent two years as a manager in Bain’s Private Equity Group, performing due diligence on consumer and industrial product targets for private equity clients.
Prior to joining Bain, Grace was an equity capital markets analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), where she was responsible for marketing and pricing new issues in the equity market. Prior to DLJ, Grace worked for Kidder, Peabody & Co. as a corporate finance analyst in the Leverage Buyout Group.
Grace earned her MBA from the Wharton School in 1998 with a concentration in finance. She is also a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where she earned a degree in economics and legal studies.
In her spare time, Grace enjoys golf, wine, and spending time with her husband and two children on the beach.
