Why I do this work: As a product of the under-resourced Guam public school system and the daughter of a Montessorian, I understand the importance of investing in and operationalizing mechanisms that provide all students in America with the education they deserve. My public school education in Guam was unsafe and lacked the infrastructure to help my classmates reach their full potential. I do this work to ensure that the next generation of students have access to a safe and high-quality education.
