Background: Aurelia Williams joined Bellwether Education Partners in 2016 as office manager and executive assistant. She is responsible for managing the efficient operation of the D.C. office and also serves as a dedicated assistant to Mary K. Wells, Sara Mead, Stephanie Wilson Itelman, and Jason Weeby. Before joining Bellwether, Aurelia was the administrative staff assistant at National Patient Advocate Foundation, where for two years she worked to ensure effective and efficient workflow between the headquarters and internal and external clients while providing administrative support to the entire staff. Aurelia has over 25 years of administrative experience and has worked with a variety of organizations, where her roles have included office manager, executive assistant, and assistant meeting planner. In addition to her extensive administrative experience, Aurelia is also a Certified Life Coach with a passion for uplifting people through her work and volunteer efforts.

Why I do this work: I have spent 20 years volunteering with schools in the Washington, D.C. area, and I am currently a parent representative on the Board of Trustees for a local public charter school. I am an advocate for equal and quality individualized education for all students regardless of race, gender, location, or socioeconomic status. I am excited to bring my commitment and passion for equal education to Bellwether’s exceptional team.
